Show thiksgwgIt the state school Commencing at 10 a m . the Thanks- giving day program at the State School for the Deaf and Blind promises prom-ises to be one of the most Interesting aud enjoyable that has ever been given giv-en at the school The morning program will be furnished fur-nished by the Deaf and Blind students and will open with a piano solo, "Gra tltude," by Miss Ida Foster. The reading of the governor's proclamation proclama-tion will be by Leo Ritchie and Marie Hunter and the smaller blind children will give a selection, entitled "Thanksgiving "Thanks-giving Joys." The presentation of a series of ll Ing pictures will follow the children's number and will be descriptive of character famous in the first Thanks giving era. "Governor Bradforo 1 will be presented by I,oran Savage, and irene Jones. "Miles Standish" by Alma Wild and Nellie Pay ton. the In dian chief. "Massacolt," by Glenn Kil llngsworth and Frank Nelson. "John Alden" by Kenneth Olsen and Scott Storey; "Priscilla," by Cora Hltesman and "MiBtress White" by Olive Smith "November Fun' will be sung by Margaret Lamb and the recitation, 1 Thankful for What." will bo given by Arnold Roylance. Gladys Jones, Myrtle Jewett. Caroline Wood, Rosa Plva, Rulon West, O'Dean Rasmussen Andy Goga and Joseph Robertson will present the "Little Pilgrims' Drill." and the program will close with the piano solo, Blakeslee's "Valse," by Linda Masoera. , A dinner will follow the program and the students and attendants will close the occasion with a dance in the evening. |
