Seager was requested by Cap tain J. J Roberts to sign his resignation. resig-nation. Imme-diately. Seager was considered one of the most efficient men on the force and was appointed under the present administration ad-ministration on February 2, 1912. He has since been on duty as plain clothes man. In all Mr. Seager has had about seven years experience on the local police force having served five years prior to his appointment In February last year. He served under Chiefs Samuel Paul. Tom D. Pitt, Roderick MacKenzle and W. J Lynch. He resigned after this service serv-ice and was appointed deputy sheriff sher-iff by Joseph Sharp and assigned to duly in Salt. Lake.
