Painter was taken up on 6X-parte testimony, the defendant not appearing on the witness s;aml although al-though he was In court aud was rep resented by an attorney Mrs Pafnter testified that she mar ried the defendant November 12. 1901 aud that there are five children in the family at this time' She stated further that the defendant though able bodied and capable of making a living for the family, had failed to provide the necessities of life for some time past. The court ordered that a decree ot I divorce issued to the plaintiff, pro- I H I viding that the defendant pay $18 a H i month alimony, the costs of the suit I H and attorney fees. |
