Show SALOON CASE DOES OVER TD NEXT TUESDAY When the time came to resume the hearing in relation to the application of Frank P Garner for a license to conduct the St, Anthony bar on Washington avenue, Judge Harris announced an-nounced that since ye-sterday the applicant ap-plicant had employed an attorney to look after his Interests, and thai in-; in-; oinuch as the attorney had advised the court that there would be a num-ber num-ber of witnesses to bo examined In the case, the hearing would be continued con-tinued until 9:30 o clock Tuesday morning. Detective Charles Pincock and other oth-er officers of the city say that Mr. Garner has alwavs kept a respectable respect-able place and that there has never been an occasion for the officers to go to the St. Anthony bar on account ac-count of disturbance. It is said that the judges have I taken cognizance of the testimony j given in thy Bodh assault case to the effect that Bodh, who was a minor, purchased beer at the St Anthony bar and was intoxicated when he shot Officer Hobson on the night of July 25 oo |
