Seventy four ! of the 110 members or the Mexican I chamber of deputies arrested by older ol-der of Provisional President Huerta 'October 10, were formally arraigned today before the second judge of the federal district who has had charge I of the Investigation Into the cases The period for filing charges against the deputies expired today The charges entered against the deputies today were all for political offenses designated by the law as rebellion, re-bellion, sedition and "insults" to 1m portant public functionaries. Ten of the deputies, against whom there was said to be Insufficient evidence, evi-dence, were released. The others had been previously set at liberty. It was expected yesterday that Ro-dolfo Ro-dolfo Reyes formerly provisional min later of Justice, and Jorge Vera Es-tanoL Es-tanoL formerly provisional minister of public instruction, would be released, but they were among those kept in custody oo |
