Conner, United States immigration im-migration inspector, and was Inter rogated relative to her coming to this country, and to the claims she declares she has against Prince Stan IslaUfl Sulkovvski. a nephew of the Grand Duke Of Berlitz, and scion of a noble Austrian house. The prince was married last Monday night So Miss Marie Louise Freese. daughter of a retired millionaire, with a quiet ceremony, plans for a brilliant c hurch wedding having been suddenly changed. An attorney w ho was first ap-. proached by Mrs. Melcher and then retained by the prince said today he had suggested to Mr Freese. the princes lather in la w. a payment of $5,000 or $lo.ooo In settlement of the woman's claims, but Mrs. Melcher, through her lawyer, declared she must have not less than $50,000.
