Show ' FIFTY AMERICAN j BOYS TOUR WORLD San Francisco. Mar 3. Fifty typical typi-cal American buvs ranging in age from 12 to 20 years, Will sail from Boston. Mass. on or about April 1 j for a tour of the world which shall 1 have as its principal object the advertisement ad-vertisement of San Francisco and the Panama-Pacific International exposition. ex-position. Thirty-two of the hoys will be members of the Columbia Park Bos club of this city and the re niainder will he chosen from boys l uus in different American citizens Oj the National Youth's Achievement committee All of the boys will have passed a j test in which scholarship in school, physical development, athletic ability, musical attainment and moral character char-acter are eaeh graded at 20 per cent. ; The expenses will bo met for the most part by the hoys themselves The San Francisco delegitlon will leave here March ftu. At Kansas City Mo., the first stop, one boy selected li competitive tests will be added, a; Chicago, two boys will join the party; at Grand Rapids and Detroit. Mich . Dayton and POlumbus, Ohio, Pittsburgh, Pa. Trenton, N'. J., and Hoston. a boy from each city will be added.
