| Show WARNING IS 8 GIVEN TO MINING MEN claims on southern pacific patented land must be filed before january ad charles W S who is interested in mines minds in nearly every camp in nevada and is the father of tho the camp of which is on land claimed by the southern pacific company by a patent secured jan 6 5 1903 has issued I a warning to all nevada mining men ow owning ning mining properties lea on land secured sered red by the southern pacific company by a patent says the eureka sentinel ho he states that all mining men having claims on the patented ground must file a claim to the property with the land commissioner in washington D 0 before fore jan 3 1909 or forfeit all right to their property and allow the railroad company to secure it by the statute of limitations he states that although the mine owners of olinghouse and mill city have brought suits against the southern pacific company claiming that the railroad company secured the ground by fraud the other mine owners having claims on railroad patented land will not be benefited by these suits even if they are decided in favor of the mine owners unless the other mine owners file a claim to their property in the general land office colonel states that the southern pacific company has put the mine owners and prospectors off with the statement that they will secure a title after the olinghouse OHn ghouse canyon case Is settled it if that case la is decided in favor of the miners but that this is only to have the mine owners remain quiet until after abter jan 3 when the land will come into the possession of the railroad company by the statute of limitations and give tho the railroads an unassailable title |
