Show 14th Annual Commence' ment Exercises at High School Altho the following program was , released gome three weeks ago we thought best to hold, than to reprint, .and brag about what local stuff we were publishing. Schedule of Events for the Coming Week Monday May- 18th Principal and Mrs. H. R. Atkin will entertain the graduates at their home. Tuesday May 19th From 10:30 to 12. Honor Day Program. Pro-gram. The Home Economics Club will entertain en-tertain their Mothers at a tea from 2 to 4 p. m. The High School Faculty will entertain en-tertain the Alumnus of the school together with the graduates of this year, from 8 to 10:30 p. m. Parent Day at School. -Wednesday, May 20 Field Day for 6th, 7th and 8th Grade Pupils. ' ' Thursday May 21 From 8 to 9:30 p. m. Commencement Commence-ment Exercises. Grand Commencement Ball, High School Gym, from 9:30 to 12:00. The commencement exercises will be held in the New High School and will start at eight o'clock on Thursday Thurs-day next. The Bingham High School Band will demonstrate their musical ability at the start. Miss Doris Masters, the President of the Graduating class will lead the march of graduates. Professor Pro-fessor Jensen, director of music, will lead in the community singing of "America" everyone who can't remem ber the words are advised to bring their music books along. The Rev. Samuel Mitchell, of the M. E. Community church will give the Invocation. The High School Girls Glee Club will render "Fair Cuba." Cu-ba." Miss Doris Masters will give the address of welcome., Miss Margaret Ireland was given the Valedictory Address on account of the high percentage of her attendance atten-dance at the school. The members of the graduating class are next on the program with a chorus. Miss Mabel Knudsen will give the Prognostication.' Prognos-tication.' Andrew Hadges will deliver an address. The Commencement Address Ad-dress will be delivered by the Rev. Elmer Goshen, of the First Congregational Congrega-tional Church of Salt Lake City. This should give the people of Bingham one of the best opportunities they will ever have to hear the Rev. Goshen in real oratory, his main delight being schools and school children. The High School Boys Glee Club will render a vocal selection "On Venice Waters." Principal H. R. Atkin will present the following graduates. Margaret Ireland, Doris Masters, Anna Bogan, Mabel Knudsen, Elva Johnson, Loren Stokes, Blanche Rasmussen, Dorius Adams, Scott Arnold, Harry Bodmer, Joe Brisk, Andrew Contratto, Andrew Hadges, Einner Sutherland and Wayne Turpin. The Diplomas will be presented pre-sented to the graduates by D. C. Jensen, Supt, of the Jordan School. District The High- School Orchestra will then entertain with a selection after will be brought to a close by Bishop Lyons of the L. D. S. Church pronouncing pro-nouncing the benediction. |
