Show News Notes From Lark Mr. and Mrs. Dave Magee and Mrs. Ray. Perry motored to Salt Lake Saturday. Sat-urday. Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Nelson and children were the week end guests of Mrs .Graves at Sandy. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Peterson and children, Jean and Winonia, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Ray Perry were Bingham visitors Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Arnt Thompson and children, Ardath, Lowell, Billy and Mrs. M. Park visited in Midvale Monday Mon-day evening.. A card party was given in the Lark Social Club rooms on Thursday evening even-ing last. A large number of members mem-bers attended and prizes were awarded award-ed to Mrs. Percy Penpraze and Mrs. Alma Blum, R. F. Meyefhoffe and A. Blum. A luncheon was afterwards served. W. Callaway is another radio fan to swell the number in Lark. The many friends of Mrs. Almy Hemmingsen will learn with regret of her serious illness. Mr. and Mrs. Hi. Bateman and daughter visited friends and relatives! in Salt Lake Saturday. Mrs. James Overson and family of Murray are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. Overson. Dick Pascoe has returned from Bingham where he was employed by the Utah Copper Co. Dick has se cured a position with the Utah Lead Mining Co. who are operating near the old Fortuna Mining property. Mrs. Fred Miller was a Salt Lake visitor Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. W. Welch visited friends and relatives in Riverton on Friday last. t Mrs. Carl Mayer was a Salt Lake visitor Saturday. Miss Reta Hensen became the pleasing pleas-ing bride of Peter Mousley of South Jordan on Wednesday. Miss Hansen has been a resident of Lark for some time and has a wide circle of friends here, Mr. and Mrs. John Townsen and children motored to Midvale Saturday Satur-day evening. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Crittenden and son, Ben, motored to Provo on Sunday. Mrs. Nelly Starkey and Alfred But-terfield, But-terfield, of Copperfield, were the guests of Mrs. M. Park Sunday. Pupils of the Lark School have been busy the past week installing the new playground equipment on the school grounds. Public subscriptions were made and a giant stride, shoot the chute and other swings have been erected thru the efforts of the people of Lark. |
