Show Copperfield Brevities Mr. and Mivs. B. Lyons announce the arrival of a baby daughter at their home Friday of last week. Alvin F. Adams, of American Fork, spent Friduy here with his daughter, Mrs. G. P. Johnson and family. Mrs. Sam Rogors spent Thursday with relatives in Salt Lake, Mrs. F. E. Turner and Mrs. Maud Kurt and daughters spent Sunday here with Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Carter Car-ter and family. , Miss Margaret Anderson spent three days in Salt Lake the past week Mrs. Ellen Delamar and daughter, of Salt Lake were the Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Pitts. Mrs. Essie Brocklebank, and Miss Aduline Anderson spent Sunday with friends in Salt Lake. The Misses Mabel Neprud, June Rheese and Ruby Knudsen entertained entertain-ed the D. L. bridge club at the home of Mrs. Bernice Ralls, on Tuesday evening. IHigh score was won by Mrs. Maurice Cotter and second high by Mrs. Ralls. A two course luncheon lun-cheon was served to Misses Stella klopenstine, Gertrude Colyar, Aflta Acord, Bessie Call, Mrs. H. B. Aven and Mrs. M. A. Cotter. Miss June Rheese and Miss Alta Acord spent last week end with the former's parents at Ogden. Mrs. Elmer Knudsen and Miss Ruby Ru-by Knudsen spent Wednesday in Salt Lake. Mrs. A. Mugfur and Mrs. F. Dren-nan Dren-nan were Salt Lake visitors Tuesday. Miss Mabel Neprud attended the school principal's meeting held at Sandy on Monday. Wilford Mitchell, of Salt Lake was the last week end guest of his sister, Mrs. C. J. Dixon. Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Colyar and daughters spent Saturday with relatives rela-tives in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. George McDonald and Mrs. Jennie Mann were Salt Lake visitors Wednesday. Edward Byrne spent last week end with his family in Salt Lake. Mrs. N. O'Donnell of Suit Lake is visiting at the home of her sister, Mrs. Joe McDonald. Mr. and Mrs. Guy McNabb were Salt Lake visitors Saturday. Mrs. W. E. Scott and Mrs. W. McNabb Mc-Nabb spent Monday in Salt Lake. Fire of an unknown origin started in the garage of Supt. Fred Turner, of the Ohio Copper Co., early Thursday Thurs-day morning and destroyed his two Packard cars, valued at $10,000. The garage is situate in Copperfield and is close to the main pumping station of the company. |
