Show MRS CHARLOTTE IS LAID TO REST well known lady pioneer of weber county burled from second ward meeting house the funeral services over the re mains ot mrs charlotte etherington one ot the pioneers ot weber counts and of this city who died were held yesterday afternoon from tho second ward meeting aps ops counselor george shorten krestof pre the fier vices iacre largely attend faS by the descendants relatives and friends of the deceased of which she had a large number prayer was offered by joseph parr who was followed by a number ot speakers bishop one of the speakers spoke of his intimate friendship for the deceased saying that he had in the early days crossed the plains in tho same ox train with airs etherington and that the friendship and respect tor her which he gained ar that time had continued up until tho time of her death he paid a glowing tribute to the worth and character of sirs etherington and spoke ot hei work for the faith president C F middleton and the other speakers also referred to the stainless life and character of mrs etherington and the services closed with benediction by bishop ric tho floral offerings were many and beautiful testifying to the love and affection in which the deceased wan bold by all among tha pieces gates ajar from her children a column from her grandchildren a all low from her great grandchildren and many smaller designs from friend interment was in ogden city cemetery the grave being dedicated by bishop |
