As Clt Attorney Burton was away In Salt I.akc at the' time the case was not tried until ycBterday The following were nrrestcd yesterday on the charge of drunkenness, quarreling quarrel-ing and playing unlawful games CharlcB Pyper, James Hartley, Ernest Ern-est Speery and Albert Kendall Chas. Pyper, James Hartley and Bert Kendall Ken-dall wore arraigned before Justice Stout on August 12, the first two pleaded not guilty and the la6t pleaded plead-ed guilty. Ernest Spcrry had left town and did not appear. Pyper was found guilty and fined $15. Hartley was acquitted of the first charge and freed Hartley Hart-ley was tried in the afternoon for keeping a dlsordorlv house and found guilty and fined ?25. Albert Kendall was also fined $15 for flghtln?. oo |
