Show EXPERTS WILL DECORATE STREETS The Charles W. Goodman Co. of Seattle will decorate the streets of Ogden for the first annual "Faohion Show" to be held September 27 and 28. The contract with these people was signed last night at the meeting of tho committees in charge of the show. Their experts wll decorate Washington avenue from Twonty-thlrd Twonty-thlrd street to Twenty-fifth street. Twenty-fifth street will bo decorated between Washington and Grant avenues av-enues . The transportation committee reports re-ports that tho Rapid Transit has made a rate botween Brigram and Ogden of C5 cents (or the round trip and the intermediate stations will be included in the reduction. Reduced rates wll be secured from the Bamberger line and the steam roads. Dr II. M. Rowe, Arthur Kuhn and 1. II. Cook have been added to the transportation committco The Retail Merchants held a mooting moot-ing last night and tho butchers and grocers agreed to turn over their windows during "Fashion Week" to the Ogden manufacturers. One of the strong attractions will bo the display of goods manufactured In Ogden. Street attractions will continue con-tinue until a late hour. The stores will remain open on Friday and Saturday Sat-urday nights. |
