LIndqulst of Company Com-pany B state that everything is In read mess for the departure of the company tomorrow at about 1 o'clock In the af lei noon, to take part In the annual army maneuvers In California. The camp wagons have been loaded load-ed with all necessary equipment, guns and other accoutrements havo been placed In first-class condition and the boys themselves are looking forward to a week of real army life. Only the strictest army regulations will prevail pre-vail nt the manouvers and war discipline disci-pline jylll be enforced in every particular par-ticular It is understood that the local company, com-pany, which Is regarded as the best drilled and most efficient In rifle practice prac-tice nnd athletics In the Utah division, divi-sion, will be called on to bear 'the brunt of the battle in the attack on San Francisco That Is, Company 13 will constitute the advance guard of the Utah provisional regiment inithe combined attack on the city. The boys will leave tho traiu at Salinas, about 80 miles from San Francisco and after marching about tlx miles to their first camping point near Monteray, report to the commanding com-manding officer of the Red forces, Brigadier General Wankovvsky. From that point the Red army will begin Its advance on San Frnnclaco, scouting and reconnoitering every foot of tho" way. Company A of the signal corps will have a strength of flfty-tuo officers and men With the infantry', the signal sig-nal and sanitary corps wll be routed to Salinas, Cal whoro it will detrain and march to the concentrating point, five miles distant, near Monterey The artillery will detrain at Coyote, Cal., and will remain in camp at that point for ono day's instruction beforo Joining Join-ing the main body. The Red army, or the attacking force, of which the Utah guard will be a part, will bo in command of Brigadier Brig-adier General Wankowskl of the National Na-tional Guard of California. General Wankowskl announced some time ago that he would not serve during the maneuvers under an officer of inferior rank, oven though tho officer be from tho regular servlco, but that, in case Me could not be In command, he would be glad to serve as a private Plenty of War Game. Coyote flat, ten miles from San Jose, has been selected ao tho point of mobilization for the attacking force.
