Perrine In behalf of the citizens of Twin Falls and to a petition peti-tion sent the first of this week signed by 200 local huslnpss men and commercial com-mercial travelers, pleading for morn ing passenger service from the east on this branch, tho Oregon Short Lino 1 yesterday sent the following tolegram from Salt Lake to J. B Perrine- "As. per conversation when here new service will become effective Sunday. J-fpvembor C. Uo. p3 should reach Twin Falls, about 12.3Q nopn. No change in No. 156, except that this fralp will run through to Pocatello instead in-stead of remaining at Minidoka. Signed. Sign-ed. D. E. Speucr, assistant general passenger agent " Owing to tho fact that with few exceptions ex-ceptions no trains from the east have been arriving here before 5 or G o'clock in the evening for the past 60 days or more, great inconvenience was caused to travelers and no mail was delivered before tho next day. The citizens of Twin Falls, and the towns along the branch will greatly appreciate appre-ciate the new schedule. |
