Show OGDEN'S GREAT WHITE WAY PLANNED- A committee consisting of A. P. Bigelow, A. T. Wright and C. R Hol-lingsworth, Hol-lingsworth, appointed to take up with the property owners and plan for a new system of street lighting on Washington avenue from Twenty-second to Twenty-sixth streets and on Twenty-fifth street from Wall avenue to Washington avenue, has formulated formu-lated tho necessary agreement to he signd by the property owners. In substance the agreement is that tho property owner will, on or beforo December 1, 1012, pay 75 cents foi each foot of frontage into a fund to defra the expense of installing and lighting for a period of one year, alter al-ter which time Ogden City will assume as-sume all expenses of maintaining and lighting 6even regulation street arc lights to each e'de or face of the blocks in the district named above. These ar.c lights nre to he supported on new steel poles set at tne curb and will also support the trolley wires of the Ogden Rapid Tianslt compnn. and will be used for that purpose ii.-stcad ii.-stcad of wooden poles which the transit company is about to install so that it may remove irom the cen-' ter of the street its present wooden poles supporting its tiollcy and transmission trans-mission wire?. The committee hns decided to ban dlo the matter on a unit plan, cacti face of a block constituting a uni. There aie fourteen blocks in the proposed district. In older to facilitate facili-tate the work and to complete the same at the earliest possible date fie committee has placed a chairman in direct charge of the matter for each face of a block in tho district. These chairmen will call two other property owners to their assistance and at once tako up the matter vrith the intciest-ed intciest-ed property owners. Washington avenue, east side, Twentj -second street to Twenty-third street, James Mack, chairman. Washington avenue. west aide Twenty-fourth to Twenty-fifth street J. .N. Spargo, chairman. Washington avenue, west side. Twenty-third to Twenty-fourth street, Arthur Kuhn,- chairman. Washington avenue, west side, Twenty-second to Twenty-third street, J. Bcltman, chairman. Twenty-fifth street, north side. Grant to Washington avenue, T H. Carr. chairman. Twenty-fifth street. north side, Lincoln to Grant avenue, D. A. Smyth, chairman. Twenty-fifth street, south side, Lincoln to Grant avenue, F. R. Wat-kins, Wat-kins, chairman. Mr. Wedell, chairman of the block between Twenty-fourth and Twenty-fifth Twenty-fifth streets, on the east side of Washington avenue, has just completed, complet-ed, with one exception, obtaining the signature of every property owner in his block to the agreement as outlined out-lined above.
