Mr. Glasmann said "We expect Ogden Og-den City to own about one-fourth or one-fifth of tho water in the dam whenever we get through with our law suits. Ogden City will either help us build the dam or will condemn enough of our water or a right to Impound its own water in our dam Wo admit that we cannot stop a city in need of water from taking all the water needed and wo fully expect the city to got water through our reservoir reser-voir and for that reason nre putting in two gates so tnat the city can take charge of Its own water without interfering in-terfering with our company rights or our company interfering with the city "It will cost us mucn less now to prepare for the extra gates and valves Wo know just what the courts will dr. to us when the final decision is made which will not come for five years , In the meantime the dam will be built and there will be wator next summor for both the city and the farmer." |
