Show oo STREET CARS FOR POCATELLO. Pocatello, Idaho, Oct. 17. The ocal men interested in acquiring a franchise fran-chise for the establishment of a street railway system In Pocatello mean business. All of the men are very reliable and well known, not only in Idaho, but elsewhere Ex-Governor James H. Brady, president or the Trans-Mississippi congress; Lyman Fargo of, the Blyth-Fargo. string of stores; W. F. Kasiska, owner of the Bannock hotel, and one of the financiers finan-ciers of south Idal'o, and Earl C. White of the real estate firm of that name are the chief promoters. It is the mention of these men to establish estab-lish a street car line at once and lay the rails as the paving is dono. Their projected system will cover the west side and on the east as far as the academy. The promoters claim that they will operate by the first of the year if they get tho contract. The Salt Lake syndicate Is pressing the matter also and the city council will be asked to decide tonight. |
