Show INJURED MAN MAY NOT RECOVER A W. Blackner, the man who was Injured in the saw mill at the rear of the site of tho new Plngreo National Na-tional bank building, Saturday afternoon, after-noon, is In a critical condition, and the chances for his recovery are said to be very slight. According to a report from the Dee hospital today, tho injured man's condition is not as favorable as it was Sunday Blackner is unconscious much of the time. No operation has been perfomred, and there seems to bo some doubt as to the exact nature of the man's injuries It is believed, howover, that he is suffering of a compound fracture of the skul, Mr. Blackner was Injured Saturday while sawing lumber for the construction con-struction of the new Pingrec National Na-tional bank building. There was no one with him at the time he was hurt, but it is thought that he was struck at the base of the brain by a short piece of lumber which presumably presum-ably became entangled In a bolt and wa thrown in his direction with terrific ter-rific force.
