St, Paul's German Evangelical Stf church of Ogden, located at tho cor-' cor-' ner of Jefferson avenue and Twenty-. Twenty-. third street, was dedicated with ap-' ap-' proprlate ceremonies at 11 o'clock, Sunday forenoon, eight "ministers from distant states assisting in the dedicatory dedica-tory services. Threo hundred members of the congregation con-gregation were present to witness the opening of the new church as a house of worship, and the exorcises were very Interesting and Impressive. At 11 a. m., the congregation as-i as-i tembled on the cast steps of the new edifice and Rev. P. Ph. Tester, pastor of the church, read a Bhort service from the Scripture, after which tho ' congregation Joined in the singing of J a hymn. Rev. Tester than unlocked 1 the door, and the congregation filed M Into the church. Tho invocation was delivered by Rev. Tester, after which snort addresses were made by the visiting pastors, who, in the course of their remarks, congratulated the members of the church on having such a beautiful house of worship and ex-Pressed ex-Pressed the hope that the work of the church will go forward with rapid strides. The dedicatorial sermon by tho pastor and the remarks by the visiting ministers were made, for the most part, in the German language. At the close of tho morning services a feaBt was held in the basement of the church, and many members of th0 congregation partook of tho delicious de-licious vlandB prepared by the ladios vf the church. Tho evening services were conducted conduct-ed by Rev. Tester and several of the visiting pastors. A more beautiful house of worship than tho one which was dedicated Sunday would be difficult to conceive. Tho exterior of the building Is light brown pressed brick, a.nd tho interior Is handsomely finished. Ono of tho most attractive features are tho beautiful beau-tiful stained glass windows, each one tho gift of some ono closely connected connect-ed with the church, and each illustrating illus-trating some passage of Scrlpturo or representing some character in tho Bible I The wall tinting and decoration decora-tion is verv fine, and the altar has tho finest of finishings. Previous to tho dedicatory services, the interior of the church was prottlly decorated with potted plants and fragrant fra-grant blossoms, and the contrast of the flowers coupled with the handsome hand-some mural decorations wns pleasing pleas-ing to tho eve. Another delightful feature of the services was the excellent ex-cellent music rendered by tho choir Tho musical numbers which were rendered added greatly to the impres-slveness impres-slveness of the services. The visiting pastors who took a prominent part in the senlccs which marked the dedication of tho handsome hand-some now edifice were Rev. Fred Bronnccke, of Sugar City. Idaho; Rev.
