Many igt ' people claim tho honor of catching M , tho deer, but from the best reports I obtainable tonight tho capture was I f effected by Georgo Webh, Leslie Pope M and Andrew Caufiold, threo boys from 14 to 19 years of ago. r Tho deer came down Freeman's i gulch and made his way painfully W to a place near tho depot, -where ho tt ; was seen by tho boys who captured. J-5 him. He was weak and his feet were bleeding, hut he showed fight and J was not easily" captured.
