Notice Is horoby given by tie Board of Education of' Ogden City, Utah, that It intends to adopt text books for tho public schools of said city for use during the period of f.ve years from the first day of September, 1912. Text books on all subjects above named will be considered for the grade or grades in which such subjects are commonly taught. Separate and sealed proposals from publishers to furnish each kind of book in the number indicated above or such number, more or less, as said Board may require each year, stating the bid and terms thereof, the net price of books F O. B. at point of shipment and F O. B at Ogden, Utah, to be accompanied by sample cople3 of the books proposed to be furnished, together with a statement of the introductory in-troductory and exchango price and of a wholesale and a retail price at which the publishers agree to furnish each book within Ogden City during the full period of five vears above stated, will be received b the said Board at Its offices in rooms 10 and 11 of the City Hall at Ogden, Utah, until the hour of S p. ra. on the 1st day of April, 1912. at which time nnd place said Board will meet and publicly open and read all the proposals which Bhall have been received and will mako Its decision deci-sion within thirty days thereafter. The publisher or publishers whose proposals shall he accepted must enter en-ter Into a written contract with tho said Board of Education, and shall give a bond with two sufficient sureties sure-ties in a reasonable sum, to bo fixed by the Board, for the faithful performance per-formance of such contract.
