When Hudson avenue was opened, condemnation proceedings had to be Instituted to get a part of the Sor-enson- property abutting on Twenty-fifth Twenty-fifth streot, the jury allowlug Mr. Sorensen about l,000 per front foot for the property used by tho city for the avenue. It appears now that like proceedings will have to be instituted by the city to got the ground for the proposed alleyway.
