J., priest-astronomer, has sighted a tramp comet which ho terms a real publicity seeker, as Its tall may be plainly seen with opera glasses, Tho head pr nucleus Is visible to the naked eye, just to tho south and west of tho star Chuban, which, in nautical and lav parlance, Is known as the "tall of tho Dragon " The head Is much larger than that of Kalley's comet or others which havo 'been noted of recent years. Its original Identity Is unknown, according ac-cording to tho astronomer, who accredits ac-credits its appearance as simply another an-other one of the freak formations of fiery nebulous matter. The comet is easily seen after 8 p. m. and thereafter through the hours before daylight |
