The celebrated legal bailie waged about leo Cramer and his alleged illegal il-legal transactions in connection with the defunct bank have held the attention atten-tion or the courts for the last year. The Idaho Stale bank of Halloy went to the wnll on September 1, 1910, and following the crash charges were filed against Cramer and other officials of tho bank. Leo Cramer was tried on the charge of accepting a deposit while he was vice president and acting act-ing manngor of the bank. The do-posit do-posit Itself was taken Into tho Institution Insti-tution by Cashier Cutts on August 31, tho Iny before the hank failed, and when it was claimed it was Insolvent and thai Cramer know this to bo a fact. Cutts was also charged with accepting tho deposit, but has not been tried. Cramer was found guilty after trial and sentenced. Ho appealed the case to tho supremo court, but the sentence sen-tence was affirmed. Application for r rehearing was made and tbls' was denied by tho court's order. Cramer is now in tho penitentiary serving sentence |
