This is a story, not of the "old woman who lived In a J shoe," and "had so many children I she did not know what to do,"' but the story of a woman who lives In one room and owns so many dogs sho noes not know what to do. j Mrs. Amelia Ludwlg was found living liv-ing off a West Side alley last night, ' her single room being a veritable kennel. Housed In the place with her were thirty dogE which she said she had picked up in tho streets. Mrs. Ludwlg, explulned to a member mem-ber of the Antl-Cruolty sodet which called onher. that she gae the dogs oatmeal nnd milk in the morning and looked for scraps from restaurants for them at night. Sho said her rent was ?7 a month and that Bhe was three months behind In her paments. Asked how she lived, she said "Oh. I get along."
