Show HAROLD ORLOB TO COMPOSE AN OPERA Salt Lake, Aug. 17. Utah talent is in the ascendant. To the long list of Salt Lake's famed and accomplish-ed accomplish-ed sons and daughters is now added the name of Harold Orlob. the Salt Lake boy who made a name for himself him-self by writing a number of song hits and the music for the recent metropolitan metro-politan musical successes, "The Flirting Flirt-ing Princess "Miss Nobody From Stnrland," "The Goddess, of Liberty" and "'The Heart Breakers," produced by Mort H. Singer. Lasky & Harris, recognized as one of the largest aud most successful firms producing musical plays, recently re-cently affixed Its name to a contract with Mr. Orlob, whereby the latter Is engaged to compose all the music of a piece to be produced by Laskv &. Harris at tho now famous Folios Bergore In New York. In December or later. Mr. Orlob wrote "I wonder Who's Kissing Her Now," one of the biggest song hits In several seasons, which he sold to Joseph Howard. William Le Baron, who wrote' the book and lyrics for "The Echo another successful suc-cessful musical play of recont birth, wfll probably write the lyrics for Lasky & Harris's Folios piece, In con-Junction con-Junction with Mr. Orlob. i |
