Show ONE OF PERJURERS IN THE BROWN CASE FOUND GUILTY. CHICAGO. Feb. 10 Detective Patrick Pat-rick .J. Keeley. was found guilty of perjury today by a jury In Judge Clark's court. His accuser was States Attorney Waymau, and his offonse is alleged to have occurred during the trial of Lee O'Nell Browne, In which Keeley was assigned to protect H. J. C Beckcmeyer, the legislator, who confessed he received money, from Browne for his voto for William Lor-Imor Lor-Imor as United States, senator. KeeleyV testimony, which brought on tho prosecution, was that Wayman had told him( to "take Beckemcyor out and treat 'him 'right," which he sajd ho thought meant to get the legislator leg-islator drunk. |
