Show YOUNG li FALLS VIDERWHEELS While standing on the platform of a Bambeiger train last evening, John Kelllher, agod 22 years and rosldlng on Pacific avenue, lost his balance and fell between the cars, the wheels passing over his right foot. It was found necessary to amputate tho foot at the ankle. The train wns No. 17, due to ar-rie ar-rie in this city at 7:10 o'clock, and had just passed over the Weber river bridge near Thirty-third street. It Is claimed that had KolHher not grabbed grab-bed for one of the handrails hemight have escaped with slight injuries, but ho secured a hold and swung In under un-der the car, the wheels catching his foot Ho was rushod to the Dee Memorial hospital, where It was found that the foot had been so badly crushed that there was no other course other than amputation and Dr. E.
