Show THEY RUSHED TO COURT TOOJJTE In Judge J A Howell's division of the district court ex-parte testimony was heard this morning In relation to tho dlslncorj oration of tho Super.or Honey company President W Red-field Red-field testified that, at a meeting of the stockholders of the company a short Umo ago, It was determined to dissolve the corporation, after all obligations ob-ligations of tho company had been met and a completo settlement had on all outstanding accounts The court ordered or-dered tho company dissolved. The case of Mary J Avey against May B Jackson, administratrix, was called for hearing There being no attorney In court to represent tho parties and the parties themselves not bolng present the case was dismissed. Judgo Howell stating that all other cases called In court for hearing, with no one present to look after them, will be dismissed InEtantor. Shortly after tho adjournment of court, however, the attorneys In the caae hurrlod Into the court room and persuaded Judgo Howoll to reconsider his action, In chambers. The clerk was authorized to entor an order revoking re-voking tho order of dismissal. The attorneys represented that the case had practically been Bettled between them but that It would he necessarv to introduce a little testimony and that this would have beon done earlier than today had It not been that one of the parties to the action had been 111 The case having been reinstated In the Judge's second order, the evidence evi-dence will be Introduced, The suit was brought to quiet title to certain tracts of land. . nn |
