Show Groups Plan Camp Aid A committee to develop, promote, pro-mote, improve and maintain the Tony Grove Convalescent Camp in Logan canyon, used last year by the ..patients from Bushnell General Gen-eral hospital in Brigham city, has been formed by the Logan chamber cham-ber cf commerce, Secretary M. R. Hovey announced today. ": Colonel R. M. Hardaway, commanding com-manding officer : at thq hospital, has announced plans to operate the camp from May until November Novem-ber of this year. New patients will be assigned at various intervals, with about 100 receiving treatment treat-ment at all times. The committee was organized at the suggestion of James O. Stewart, supervisor of the Cache National Forest, who pointed out the need for equipment, recreation and other enjoyment not provided provid-ed by the government. The general committee, to be known as the Tony Grove U. S. Service Men's Recreation committee, commit-tee, will include Mr. Stewart as chairman, representing the forest for-est service and the chamber of commerce; Dr. William B. Preston, Pres-ton, Dr. Lewis M. Turner, dean of the school of forestry at Utah State Agricultural college; Professor Pro-fessor H. B. Hunsaker, representing represent-ing the Rotary club; Glen Worth-ington, Worth-ington, Logan city recreation council; Professor H. S. Carter, Lions club; Guy N. Cardon, junior jun-ior chamber of commerce; Joseph C. Cardall, American Legion; Roy Adams, VFW; Mrs. John C. Carlisle, Carl-isle, Red Cross; and Mr. Hovey. Sub-committees were announced as follows Co-ordination, Mr. Worthing-ton, Worthing-ton, chairman; Dr. Preston, vice chairman; Mrs. Carlisle and Professor Pro-fessor Carter; Finance Dr. Preston, Pres-ton, chairman; Erwin U. Moser, Professor Carter, and Mr. Cardon. Entertainment Professor Carter, Car-ter, chairman; Mrs. Carlisle, vice chairman. Athletics Professor Hunsaker, chairman; Mr. Worthington, vice chairman; Mr. Moser and Mr. Cardon. Craftsmanship Mr. Adams, Ad-ams, chairman. Grounds Mr. Cardall, chairman; Dean Turner, vice chairman, and Mr. Moser. Indoor Games Mrs. Carlisle, chairman; Mrs. Joseph C. Cardall, vice chairman. Educational Programs Dean Turner, chairman; Professor Carter, Car-ter, vice chairman. Publicity Mr. Cardon, chairman; Mr. Hovey, vice chairman.
