Show RICHMOND - Mr. and Mrs. Holger Sanders announce an-nounce the arrival of a baby . girl born Monday at the Lewis matern-! matern-! ity home. I The remains of Axel Erickson of Salt Lake City were brought to Richmond Thursday for burial in the city cemetery. Mr. Erickson passed away Sunday from a heart attack. . The Scandinavian society held their regular monthly .gathering at the tabernacle Wednesday . evening. ev-ening. A good program was rendered ren-dered and the remainder, of the evening enjoyed in dancing. Va-ghan Va-ghan Hansen was re-elected presl- j dent and Lee Peterborg' was reelected re-elected secretary-treasurer. Other officers and committees will be chosen later. An outing was planned plan-ned for June 14. Mrs. Lewis Willmore of Kem-merer, Kem-merer, Wyoming, is spending a two weeks vacation in Richmond with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Johnson. Mrs. V. B. Tripp entertained the Klee club at her home Friday evening. ev-ening. Luncheon was served .and the evening spent playing bridge. High score prize was won by Mrs. Dwain Day; low score prize went to Mrs. Clifford Bair; all cut to Mrs. Ethan Thompson. The marriage of Miss June Stewart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Stewart of Logan and Clare B. Spackman, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Spackman' of Richmond, took place at a home wedding Sunday. Miss Joy Erickson entertained a group of young folks at her home Thursday evening in honor of Roland Anderson, who will leave Tuesday to join the armed forces of U.S.A. Dean Hicken, son of Bishop and Mrs. E. M. Hicken and Miss Marian Mar-ian Carlyle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Carlyle of Heber City, were recently married, at the Salt Lake Temple. Mrs. Cyril Funk entertained at a children's party Tuesday for her daughter Ramona's sever th birthday anniversary. Games were enjoyed and refreshments served. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Harris of Provo, were Richmond visitors Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. L. O. Sorenson, Mrs. Dean Sorenson and children i Marva, Jerry and Betty Lou, and Mrs. Ron Sorenson and daughter Veverly. went to Perry, Sunday, where they were dinner guests of I Mr. and Mrs. Grant Sorenson in compliment to their wedding an- j niversary. i |
