Show I CLARKSTON i CLARKSTON Memorial Day services were held in the Clarkston meeting house at 10:30 a.m. with Norman Loosle conducting the following fol-lowing program. Community singing, sing-ing, directed by Miss Blanch Godfrey, God-frey, Miss Valoa Stewart accompanist; accom-panist; prayer. Joseph P. Malm-burg; Malm-burg; song,. Ladies chorus of Newton; New-ton; addres, Wm. S. Bailey of Hy-rum; Hy-rum; duet, Mrs. Joseph Burt and Mrs. Joseph Griffin, Mrs. B. M. Griffin accompanist; talk, Bishop J. Byron Ravsten; solo, Mrs. Aleen Barker of Newton, Mrs. Daisy Lar-sen, Lar-sen, accompanist; prayer, Bishop Seymour Thompson. At the cemetery the graves Were beautifully decorated. People visited visit-ed the cemetery all through the day and visitors came from southern south-ern Idaho and many parts of northern Utah to visit the graves of loved ones, then stayed to visit i with friends and relatives. A children's dance was held at 6 p.m. and a dance for adults was enjoyed in the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Oren Myler, Mr. and Mrs. Esby Myler of Cornish were guests of Mrs. Emma G. Myler My-ler on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hansen, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Shephard, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Archibald, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Archibald, Mrs. Catherine Archibald, Ar-chibald, Mrs. Mary Jones of Dayton, Day-ton, Idaho, were visiting in Clarkston Clark-ston on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Gail Thompson and Mr. and Mrs. Byron Sparks of Ogden spent the week end with Mrs. Mary Burt. Mr. and Mrs. Burt Wheatley of Robin, Idaho were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ezikel Godfrey on Saturday. Sat-urday. Miss Oreta Godfrey will spend i two weeks visiting in Park City with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Pederson. Miss Leola Rasmussen is a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Rasmusen in Salt Lake City. In honor of the birthday anniversary anni-versary of Jas. H. Jardine, a family fam-ily dinner was held at the Jar- ; dine home on Sunday. A gold ring j was presented to Ml-. Jardine by I his family.
