Show College Plans Military Ball Themed to "United We Stand," the annual Military ball to be held in the Dansante ballroom, Friday, February 11, will be sponsored by the four military units on the Utah State Agricultural college campus. Anne Ryan of Logan, regimental sponsor and general chairman, reports. Events and decorations for the committee will be centered around the slogan. N Wednesday, . February 9, an assembly as-sembly will be presented in the USAC auditorium advertising the ball. Chairman is Sponsor Marian Olsen of Logan and her assistant is Everett J. Gottschalk of the AST unit on the campus. Servicemen Service-men will be excused to attend the' program. The military ball committee will sponsor a radio program over Logan's Lo-gan's radio station KVNU at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, February 10. In charge of the script and presentation presenta-tion are Aviation students Paul Chapman and Jerry Berman of the 318th CTD. Among the dignitaries who have been extended invitations to the formal affair is Utah's Governor Herbert B. Maw. Intermission feature, will be a i drill by ROTC sponsors under the direction of ROTC cadet John Worley of Logan and Pfc. Roy Humpherys of Logan. Campus military units participating partici-pating in plans for the annual social event are 318th College Training Detachment, AST engin-gineers, engin-gineers, marines and sailors of the Naval Training Station and the ROTC. |
