Show Heads Group George D. Clyde, dean of the school of engineering, industries and trades at Utah State Agricultural Agri-cultural college and irrigation engineer en-gineer for the Utah Experiment station, Thursday was elected as chairman of a group of irrigation specialists from the 11 western states, meeting in Iogan. The group will draw up proposals pro-posals for the first coordinated irrigation research program in the nation's history. The proposed program for future research in states functioning under irrigation irriga-tion agriculture, is expected to be completed today at final meetings meet-ings of the session, and will be presented at the spring meeting of wetsern states' Experiment station sta-tion directors. Dean Clyde and Dr. O. W. Is-raelsen, Is-raelsen, research professor of lrri. gation and drainage at USAC, are representing the Utah Experiment station at the meet. |
