Show WILLOW VALLEY CM.? HOLDS MEETING The Willow Valley Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers was neld Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Emma Thornley with Captain Alice Thornley conducting. con-ducting. Prayers were spoken by Chaplins, Mrs. Nettie Erickson and Mrs. Ellen Timmons. Music -lal numbers were under the direc-. direc-. tion of Mrs. Regina C. Smith with Katfherine Roskelley at the piano. Vocal duet, Mrs. P. D. West and daughter, June, accompanied accom-panied by Miss Eva Lou West. The lesson, Early Building of Utah, by Mrs. Lou Bain. Vocal solo Mrs. Lillian Tarbet accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Hymas. Talk by County Board Member, Mrs. Lucy Cardon and by Mrs. Budge of Logan. Mrs. Brenda Hawkins of Logan was present. Mrs. Cardon gave a talk on the memorial funfi j and building to be built in Salt j Lake by 1947. Thirty-two ladies ' were in attendance. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Thornley assisted by her daughters Gwen-della Gwen-della and Lilla and Mrs. Clark Thornley. Mrs. Libbie Watson was sustained as historian. The next meeting will be held at the home : of Mrs. Amy Hind Wednesday, J November 21st at 2:30 P. M. |
