Show : Will Belong to Uncle Sam One of the largest groups in the history of Salt Lake City will be presented for citizenship during dur-ing late November in Third district dis-trict court, M. F. Lence, district director of the U. S. Immigration and naturalization services, said Tuesday. I A total of 256 men and women are seeking to become permanent subject of Uncle Sam. In addition approximately 30 American women wo-men seeking to be repatriated will be presented when court: 'convenes. 'con-venes. "This will be the largest hearing hear-ing we have had here by far in many years," Mr. Lence said. Alien registration has spurred citizenship interest, trebling work of the immigration and naturalization naturaliza-tion service staff in this branch. International strife, too, Is believed be-lieved to be causing many to seek allegiance under the American Ameri-can flag. |
