Show Specialist Gets Three Bids to Judge Livestock Harry H. Smith, extension animal ani-mal husbandryman at the Utah State Agricultural college, has accepted invitations to judge swine and beef cattle at the Empire Fair and Rodeo at Billings, Montana, - August 11 to 16; beef and hogs at the North Salt Lake Junior Fat show June 3, 4, and 5; and hogs at the Eastern Idaho District. Dis-trict. Fair at Blackfoot, Idaho, September 15 and 16. Professor Smith has for 20 years judged at the Western National Na-tional Livestock show at Denver; 13 times at the Ogden livestock show; and for 12 years at the Utah State Fair. Other shows he has judged at include the Wyoming Wyom-ing State Fair, four times; the Los Angeles Livestock Show; the Kansas City Royal, the Tri-State District Junior Beef show at Sioux City, Iowa; and various other shows throughout the west Professor Smith a veteran livestock live-stock man, has for many years been a professor of animal husbandry hus-bandry at the college and became an extension worker last year. |
