Show s 3, COVE j - : Miss Karen Klngsford, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alton Kings-ford, Kings-ford, received her blessing and name in fast meeting Sunday. Larry Day was confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by H. Lester Bair. Mrs. Susie Allen and Mrs. Florence Flor-ence Rich, accompanied Mr. and Mrs- Mark Rich of Ogden on a trip to California. Our Sunday school was well at tended on the 13th. The new officers of-ficers were all present. Counselor Glen Larsen conducted. Prayer was offered by Beverly Hansen, sacrament was administered by Quentin Shumway and Albert Day. Talks were by Gilbert Allen Al-len and Francis Allen. Sacrament gem by Denny Allen; songs under direction of Neta Eskelson with Le-ora Le-ora Allen accompanist; closing prayef by Jean Peterson. Sacrament meetnig was conducted con-ducted by Bishop Raymond Allen; singing under direction of W. J. Harrison; opening prayer by Lee Allen; sacrament by LaMar Hatch and H. Lester Bair; quartet composed com-posed by Cliff and Emery Wiser and Merlin and Lee Cottle, with Maurine Peake accompanist, sang "Nearer My God to Thee"; first speaker was Merlin Cottle; song by quartet and talk by Wendell Godfrey. Marjorie Ti tensor and Francis Allen were released from the Primary; Net Allen was sustained as counselor and Marjorie Mar-jorie Titensor as secretary; talk by S. W. Allen expressing appreciation ap-preciation for attendance of the visitors from Trenton and Cornish; Corn-ish; closing prayer by Reed Allen. Al-len. Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Hendricks, Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Allen, were Logan shoppers Saturday. Mrs. Rozella Kingsford is visiting visit-ing in Ogden and Roy wtih members mem-bers of her family. |
