Show Services Monday In First Ward For Joseph Watts Funeral services for Joseph Watts 72, lifelong resident of Smithfield. who died suddenly Thursday at 11:13 a.m. of a heart attack while picking corn in his garden, will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in the Smithfield First ward chapeL A prominent farmer and church worker, Mr. Watts was a high priest in the Smithfield stake at the time of his death. He was born in Smithfield on November 3, 1869, a son of Henry and Louise Noble Watts. He married mar-ried Harriet A. Miles on December 19, 1888. Survivors include his widow, a son, Henry Watts of Smithfield, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Burial will be in the Smithfield cemetery under direction of the Lindquist and Sons mortuary of I Logan. I |
