Dedication ceremonies for the Logan-Cache airport on November U will be one of the outstanding , aaractions of the year, was evidenced evi-denced Thursday as tentative plans for the celebration fete were released. Alma Sonne, assistant to the Council of Twelve has been selected select-ed to give the dedicatory prayer. ! Robert Hinckley, former assistant secretary of commerce and a nationwide na-tionwide authority on aviation, has been invited as principal speaker at the ceremonies. Mr. Hinckley, an Ogden resident, toad a great deal to do witn establishment of the Civilian Aeronautics authority in the nation. Other prominent figures who will attend are Governor Herbert B. Haw, Colonel Morris Berman of Hill Field: Colonel E. G. Thomas and Engineer Guy Hart of the U. S. Corps of Engineers; Superintendent Superin-tendent Harold Bromley of the C A A and C P T and Reed Chil-coat, Chil-coat, C P T engineer of Santa Monica California. An invitation has been extended extend-ed to Colonel Russell Maughan. famous dawn-to-dusk flier, who located the airport in 1929. He is now on foreign service, however. ' and it is doubtful that he will attend. Joseph Bergin, manager of ths Silt Lake Airport and state director direc-tor of C IP T, Contractor Harrv Clyde and George Schuler, project pro-ject manager will also take part ou the program, which will begin at 2 pjn. In addition to the program of events at the airport, a military parade has., been, scheduled for 10:30 aan. along main street. At 11 a.m., while the parade is in motion, there will be a one minuta and a half of silent tribute. Lieutenant Carlos J. Badger in I charge of the Naval training unit at USAC has been appointed to line up various military units for the parade. All sailors and marines at the college, ROTC units at the college and Logan Senior high school; the state guard American Legion, Boy Scouts and' Logan Mounted Police sill be featured. The Logan high school and USA C bands will also parade. A noon luncheon for all guests and pilots who fly to Logan tor the ceremonies will be held. j N. D. Salisbury will be master of ceremonies for the dedication ', program. General chairman George D. Clyde will give a brief description descrip-tion of the port and its progress. A flag raising ceremony will be conducted under the direction of Colonel M. A. Cross. Rev. J. H. Valine, O. P. will offer the invocation, invoca-tion, other details of the program "ill be announced later. Thomas F.
