The aviator, after being shot down by Nazis, was spotted by the English air sea rescue service, who radioed the high speed launch, shown just as it reached the scene. The plane hovered above, until rescue was completed, com-pleted, then sped away upon another mercy mission. These dramatic events are almost a dally occurrence in the battle of the Atlantic. |
