Show Get in Scrap Cache county farmers, hampered in sugar beet harvest work by cold, rainy weather, were urged today to use the time in hauling scrap metal to community "scrap banks." Rulon J. Rasmussen, county salvage committee director, said the present huT in harvest work provides an excellent opportunity to ''bring in the heavy scrap metal needed so urgently now in the war effort." He suggested that farmers haul scrap to community salvage depots on their own initiative if possible, but said community campaign chairman could arrange to haul scrap for farmers unable to do it themselves. |
