Show Evidence Needed To Obtain Age Benefits Certain evidence needed to claim benefits under the Federal Old-Age and Survivors Insurance program can be secured before the actual time of filing for benefits, Manager J. Golden Hunsaker of the Social Security Board's Ogden Field Office, said here Monday. "A worker claiming retirement benefits will need to prove his age," Manager Hunsaker explained. explain-ed. "If his wife is 65, she will also get benefits. But she must prove ner age and show her marriage certificate. A widow of 65 will need the same evidence. A widow with children of school age must show her marriage certificate and birth certificates for the children. Time will be saved 'if these proofs are ready when the claim for benefits bene-fits is filed."
