Show rCLARKSTON 5 S CLARKSTON Sunday evening a scout court of honor was held con jointly with sacrament meeting. Twenty seven scouts of troop 63, all in uniform were present and received their awards. Scout Master Mas-ter James Ravsten was in charge of the meeting and with . Parley Winn district scout commissioner of Smithfield gave trie merit badges. bad-ges. John Rindlisbacher of Amal-ga Amal-ga presented the scouts with their first and second-class badges. Al-vin Al-vin Hess of Logan presented the Star badges. Coach Heber Whiting of Smithfield introduced the following fol-lowing scout men who each made a short talk, Ensign Dale Van - Or-den Or-den of Smithfield, a graduate of the naval academy at Annapolis; Preston Pond of Logan, and Mr. Whiting. All the speakers complimented compli-mented the scouts on their splen did work and thanked Scout Master Mas-ter James Ravsten and assistant Scout Master Oris Goodey for their help. The flag ceremony was in charge of Scout Collins Thompson, Scout Ned Christensen and. Scout Larry Jardine, who led the congregation con-gregation in the Pledge of Allegiance. Alleg-iance.
