Show College Slates Oratorio On March 14 "The Creation," sacred oratorio by Joseph Haydn, will be presented present-ed in the Logan tabernacle Sunday, Sun-day, March 14, at 4 p. m., Professor Pro-fessor Walter Welti, head of the Utah State Agricultural college v;.l music department, announced announc-ed today. Members of the men's and women's wo-men's choruses at the college, as well as the Imperial Glee club and Bel Canto chorus of Logan will be . presented in "The Creation," Crea-tion," which stars George Lacey of Tooele, in his last major collegiate col-legiate musical offering, and Olga Dotson of Salt Lake City, in two of the three major roles. Eighty members of the college chorus, and 50 of the local groups will participate March 14. College students in the cast, in addition to Mr. Lacey and Miss Dotson, are Addie Lund of Cedar City; Bette Weaver of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Ned Stocks of Preston, Idaho; Art Roberts Ro-berts of Afton, Wyoming; and Elmer El-mer Wahlstrom of Randolph. Pianist Pian-ist is LuDean Rogers of Logan, and organist is Professor S. E. Clark. Professor N. W. Christiansen's Christian-sen's instrumental music department depart-ment will provide additional music. |
