Show Last Rites Held For Richard Pilkington 1 Impressive funeral services were held on Sunday in the Smithfield Second ward tabernacle for Richard Rich-ard W. Pilkington, who passed away Wednesday morning at his home. Bishop Wilard A. Hansen was in charge, with Miss Hah Richardson Richard-son at the organ and Mrs. Marlon Richardson conducting the choir Three numbers were furnished by the ward choir, and special numbers included solo by C. I. Stoddard of Richmond, an organ solo by Floyd Miles and a number from a men's chorus, directed by Mrs. Bertha Mather. Speakers who praised the worthy works and deeds of Mr. Pilkington Pilking-ton were: Bishop G. L. Rees, George Z. Lamb of Hyde Park, President A. W. Chambers, Patriarch Pat-riarch John H. Peterson, Bishop William L. Winn and Bishop Hanson. Han-son. The invocation was offered by Doane Chambers and the benedc-tion benedc-tion by G. D. Workman. Interment took place in the Smithfield cemetery, where the grave was dedicated by Bishop Slyvester Low and the male chorus sang, "The End of a Perfect Day." |
