Hauling caused by this looseness loose-ness will be more frequent and dls- tlnct when the car is riding over fairly rough roads. A good method of taking tak-ing up the play Is to place shims between be-tween the spring end and the shackle, or the piny may be removed by tightening tight-ening the bolt. Watch the shackles and do not allow mud to accumulate, as small particles of glasslike substances sub-stances In parts cause excessive wear. Lubricate the shackle bolt generously. |
