NOTICE OF FORECLOSURE OF CHATTEL MORTGAGE Notice is hereby given that whereas default has occurred in the conditions of that certain chattel mortgage executed by Reed Beardall, mortgagor, to J. Fujii, mortgagee, bearing date on the 4th day of February, 1925 and filed with the Recorder of Salt Lake County at Salt Lake City on the 16th day of Febru-ary, 1925, by reason of the fail-ure of said mortgagor to pay the debt secured thereby of five notes amounting to Seven Hun-dred Dollars whereas there is due the sum of Seven Hundred Dollars with interest from Feb-ruary 4, 1925 at 7 per cent per annum and in default of pay-ment the sum of $100 as Attor-ney's fees are contracted to be allowed. St. Phone Was. 1069 1 Basket Ball v The Utah Apex Basket ball team defeated the Utah Copper basketball quint 38 to 32 at the Gemmell Memorial Club Friday night. One of the largest crowds to have ever witnessed a basket ball game in Bingham attending. The Copper boys took the lead early in the game and in the 1st quarter had tallied 10 to the A-p- ex boys 4. And at half time the score was 17 to 11. In the third quarter the Apex renewed their efforts with the result that the score read 24 to 23 for the Apex. In the last quarter the Apex boys still continued in the lead with 14 points to the Copper's eight. This was the deciding game, the third game of the ti-tle series, the first having been won by the Utah Copper and the second by the Utah-Ape- x. Jack Whiteley was indisposed and was unable to appear with the Copper boys, but Brig Knud-se- n easily demonstrated his su-periority and Jerry Dunn play-ed an excellent floor game. The Spencer brothers were noticea-ble all the time in their capablu floor play. Lolo registering six field goals. FOOT BALL Copper Boys Wrin The Utah Copper Soccer Foot- -' ball team defeated the Salt Lake team on Saturday last at the Salt Lake Fair Grounds with the score of 3 to 2. It was a hotly contested game and one of the best yet seen for the season. At half time the score was Utah Copper 2, Salt Lake 1. The Salt Lake team equalized shortly after commencing the second half. Srannon going for-ward in place of Hall, who took Shannon's place at back. Salt Lake peppered the Bingham goal but the trusty Bingham goal keep saved many well delivered shots. After raising the siege, the Copper team moved up the field and the Britisher, from Cop perfield, Crow, shot one thru the posts of the Salt Lakers Castle. After which there was fast work by both teams but neither scor-ed. APEX JOINS COPPER LEAGUE Lolo Spencer has been appoint ed manager of the Utah Apex Baseball club, which club has been admitted the past week to the Utah Copper League. Thi Apex announces that it is in the field for a fast group of ball play ers especially infielders and pitchers. The admittance of the Utah Apex which won the basketball championship of the Copper lea-gue to the baseball circuit was accomplished at a meeting in the Utah Copper company offices of Salt Lake last Monday night and the invitation was extended to the Utah Apex by Campbell M. Brown. This invitation has been accepted by the mine officials and the work of constructing a satisfactory club will immediate ly begin. The league will be composed of four clubs this year, the Utah Apex replacing Garfield, which voluntarily dropped out. The oth er clubs are Magna, champion of 1924; Arthur and Bingham.
